Chris Kennett, Ph.D.
Chris Kennet is Professor of the Department of Technology Managment and Director of the MBA Full Time programme at BES La Salle (URL).

David Riu is Chairman and Professor of the Department of Technology Management at BES La Salle (URL).

Francesc Miralles, Ph.D.
Francesc Miralles is Director of the Innova Institute (Innovation & Entrepreneurship), and professor of IS strategy, Innovation Management, and Research Method at BES, Campus La Salle Barcelona, Ramon Llull University. His Ph.D. was received from the Politechnical University of Catalonia. Dr. Miralles obtained an MBA from ESADE. Before joining BES La Salle - URL, he held a position of Executive Director in the Information Society Observatory of Catalonia (FOBSIC). For six years Francesc was a professor at the University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, where he held a Dean position and was involved in the implementation of several new programs in the Telecommunications studies at undergraduate and graduate level. Francesc has previously served as senior researcher on the PriceWaterhouseCoopers-IESE eBusiness Center, and as associate professor in the Information Systems Department at ESADE Business School.
Dr. Miralles has published in international journals and conferences and has been active in reviewing research works as Associate Editor and reviewer. His current research interests are in the area of Information Technology Management, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship. He has participated in several international research projects funded by the European Commission, the CYCIT (Spanish government), and the CENIT programme (Ministry of Science & Innovation)
He has been active in adapting educational curricula to the EHEA framework. He led two EHEA adaptation projects that were both awarded with the Distinció Jaume Vicens Vives by the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2005 and 2006.
For three years, Francesc was a member of the executive committee of the International Conference on Information Systems (sponsored by the Association for Information Systems). He was co-chairman of the ICIS’02 held in Barcelona in Decembre 2002. Francesc has also served as IT executive manager in Retevision (ONO) and other IT companies. He has also a record of activity as independent consultant in IT strategy and management projects.

Kerem Gurses, Ph.D.
Dr. Kerem Gurses is an assistant professor of strategic management at BES La Salle and also coordinates the international full time MBA program. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from IESE Business School and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology. He specializes in industry change, particularly how industry practices and technologies change through corporate political strategies. He is the author of many academic articles on this topic, and has presented his research at annual conferences such as the Academy of Management, and the Strategic Management Society conferences in the USA, and the European Group of Organizational Studies conferences in Europe. He is an active member of several academic associations related to strategic management and frequently reviews for academic journals. Dr. Kerem Gurses has also done consulting and project work for food and aerospace industries.

Ferran Gionés, M.Sc.
Ferran Giones is a research assistant at La Salle Innova Institute – Ramon Llull University. He has a Bachelor and a Master in Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona. Ferran’s professional background is in management consulting and international business operations development. In the last years he has been working on the areas of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, closely studying how entrepreneurs ventures emerge in dynamic environments under high uncertainty conditions.

Rosa Rudó, M.Sc.
Rosa Rudó is a research assistant in the Innova Institute at BES La Salle (Ramon Llull University). She holds a M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
